Former UA and Nike designers launched SPEEDLAND, a footwear brand dedicated to trail running.
Dave Dombrow and Kevin Fallon have been working alongside each other for more than 20 years, crossing paths at big sports brands such as Nike and Under Armour and they've just launched their own company, SPEEDLAND.
After leaving UA, both collaborated to design a premium trail running shoe to tackle the booming outdoor market. From this partnership emerged the SPEEDLAND SL:PDX, an ultra-running shoe made with premium materials at every stage. The SL:PDX is dedicated to outdoor adventurers, especially those who compete in 50-100km races.
PREMIUM COMPONENTS:
Following the impact of technology in the running shoe industry, especially the Nike’s Next% range, the two designers have applied the same technological advances to design the SL:PDX, partnering with the best technology companies for every component. This includes features such as a PEBAX® high-performance polymer midsole, a Carbitex carbon carbon fiber plate, and grippy Michelin outsoles.
PEBAX® MIDSOLE:
The foam midsole is made with our PEBAX® high-performance polymer, located directly on top of the Carbitex plate. Both the PEBAX® foam midsole and Carbitex carbon plate can be removed based on the runner’s preferences for ultimate personalization.
